About Me

This is the space where I tell you what a great photographer I am and what awards I've received, what degrees I have, all my big name clients, etc.

Well, the truth is, I'm kind of a hack. I dropped out of college, worked a series of joe jobs, and had a family. I started practicing photography seriously when I had my first kid. And I never stopped.

My friends are what made me. They believed in me, hired me, told me they loved my photos even when I knew I hadn't arrived yet. My portfolio is filled with these beautiful people and I'm so thankful for them.

I've been doing this photography thing for about 15 years now. It's been such a source of growth in my life and I just keep coming back to the challenges. It gets me out of my shyness, forces me to be brave, and to be honest, I still white knuckle the first fifteen minutes of every shoot because I have rather high expectations for myself. Maybe someday I'll be less nervous. Maybe.

I still get excited every single time someone wants to hire me. You believe in me! Thank you! I want to make something that you treasure for years to come!
